The Four Noble Truths:
In life there is unavoidable suffering (dukkah)
Suffering is from craving, aversion, or ignorance.
There is a way out of suffering.
The Eightfold Noble Path is the way to cease suffering.
The Three Types Of Buddhas (Enlightened Ones):
Samyaksambuddha Buddha (one who gains enlightenment systematically and can teach others how to get enlightened. We call them “Buddha Supreme” in this episode).
Pratyekabuddha Buddha (one who gains enlightenment on their own and is unable to show others how to do it. We call them “Regular Buddha.”).
Arhat (one who is facilitated into enlightenment through the teachings / instruction of a Buddha Supreme).
The Triple Gem
Buddha (an enlightened master who show the through demonstration or teachings)
Dhamma (truth / law of nature)
Sangha (your support team on the path toward enlightenment)
The Eightfold Noble Path
Right understanding (Samma ditthi)
Right thought (Samma sankappa)
Right speech (Samma vaca)
Right action (Samma kammanta)
Right livelihood (Samma ajiva)
Right effort (Samma vayama)
Right mindfulness (Samma sati)
Right concentration (Samma samadhi)
