Let’s face it, life is full of interpersonal conflict. What can you do to stay focused on your spiritual path when you have to interact with someone who isn’t doing the work? Surprise, surprise, you can use the opportunity to grow and deepen your practice. In today’s episode two best friends discuss different tools and resources one can use to stay present, when the other person isn’t doing their own self-reflection / shadow work / accountability.   1. Accept reality as it is: see the facts for what they truly are.

  2. Maintain your frequency- “Practice when you can, you will need it when you can’t.” - Krishna DAS

  3. Feed Your Demon- personify the conflict and “feed it” to see what is on the other side.

  4. Non Violent Communication: recognize the hidden needs behind the behavior as well as your hidden needs.

  5. See the God in them.

  6. See them as your mirror.

  7. Primal Wounds - what wound in them is being triggered? What wound in you are they triggering?

  8. Drama Triangle - what role are you playing?

  9. Swimming Pool - have your and their higher conscious converse

  10. Role Play - have a friend or therapist play surrogate to the person so you can hash it out.
